So, the belt is actually too small, but that's 100% on me for not measuring first. I assumed that a women's small in the states would be the same as the small belt, but I should have bought a medium. My bad! The belt itself is really nice though, it seems like it's made well. I'll probably donate this to Goodwill or something so someone can enjoy a brand new belt!
